The Adult Intensive Outpatient Dual Diagnosis Program (IOP) is offered to individuals 18 years or older that are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, and substance abuse, including opioid addiction. Our Dual Diagnosis Program is an intermediate level of care for individuals who are in need of support and counseling. Our medical doctors provide medication assisted therapy to treat opioid and alcohol addiction. Our evidenced based approaches are tailored to each individual according to their needs. Hartgrove Hospital delivers specialty services using a variety of techniques. These include yoga therapy, mindfulness exercises, mood regulation, and pet therapy. Our unique approaches and caring staff are instrumental in supporting change and recovery support to all of our patients.

Hartgrove’s Substance Abuse Counselors specialize in co-occurring disorders. Our registered MISA counselors (Mental Illness/Substance Abuse) are certified from the Illinois Certification Board. Our dual diagnosis treatment team has a distinct knowledge of human service skills and deals with the unique attitudes and behaviors associated with mental illness and substance abuse.
